Mary River Wilderness Retreat and Caravan Park is located halfway between Darwin and Kakadu National Park. This family owned and operated eco-tourism property offers budget to deluxe accommodation, caravan and camping sites, restaurant, campers kitchen and amenities, bush walks, river cruises and many other great facilities and a range of experiences. Mary River Park is the ideal base to fish and explore the Mary River, Hardies Lagoon, Shady Camp or the South Alligator. It is also a great stop over on Natures Way which takes in Kakadu and a range of other Top End attractions.

The park boasts a 3 kilometres of Mary River frontage and is a sanctuary for both woodland and wetland flora and fauna.
The Mary River is approximately 300 kilometres in length with a catchment area of over 8,000 square kilometres. There are few permanent residents in the Mary River region, but it is home to a huge variety of wildlife including birds of prey, waterfowl, wallabies, water buffalo, dingos, lizards, snakes, salt water crocodiles and many species of fish.
